SUMMARY: Suke and Ryo were living on an
orphanage ever since they were very young. It is said that their father eloped
with another woman leaving them together with their mother. Their mother can’t
bear the pain and suffering and she ended up losing her mind. She’s normal and
calm sometimes but many times…she’s becoming wild, brutal and ruthless.

Chapter 1
A nun in the orphanage: Everyone, please listen! We have
two new kids that will join us from today onwards, Ryo (7 years old) and Suke
(6 years old), play with them and befriend them ok?
They’re very young when they were taken
care of in the orphanage…but what really happened before they were taken?
~~~~~FLASHBACK TIME~~~~~
Their mother is a normal housewife and their father is
a factory worker. They’re living pretty normal and average, eating 3 times a
day, their family is a very happy one until one day, the factory that their
father were working at experienced a very tough financial problem, to survive
the future of the factory, they have to fire some workers and unfortunately,
their father was included. Hunting for job is very hard at that time, their family
savings slowly turns to nothing. Their parents were always quarreling over
simple things, father is so hot-headed now compared from before…one day…when
mother woke up…she can’t find father anywhere, the closet were empty! Even
mother’s bracelets, earrings and necklaces were gone! While mother is running
around the house, Suke and Ryo were just staring at her, without knowing a
single clue or idea on what’s happening…then she found a piece of paper above
the table…
~~~LETTER~~~
I
can’t take this kind of life anymore! I’ll leave the rest to you! Take care of
the kids…*sayonara! (*good bye)
Mother:
(Crying)…why? How
can you do this to us!
Suke: mama…
Ryo: mama…where’s father?
Mother: your father will never come back
again!
Ryo: what? But!
Mother: Leave me alone! LEAVE!
Suke: (Crying) wwhhaa!!!
Ryo: (Hugs Suke) stop crying Suke!
Mother: shut up! SHUT UP! STOP CRYING!
Suke: (Crying even louder) WWWHHHAA!!!
Mother: (Stand up) I SAID STOP CRYING!
(About to hit the poor Suke)
Ryo: (Got hit instead) (Cheek bleeding)
mother! Get a hold of yourself!
Suke: (Still crying)…wwhhhaa…
Mother: (Collapse to the floor) (Crying)
your father abandoned us! What am I going to do now?
Ryo: (Cheek bleeding) (Hugging Suke very
tight) mother…rest for a while…
Mother: (Fell asleep while crying)…
Mother lost her self-control
because of the shock. A day had passed, they hadn’t eaten at all, Suke is about
to cry again but Ryo hug him very tight and sang a lullaby that put him to
sleep…he put little Suke to bed when he saw his mother outside, near an old
tree…he went outside and call his mom…
Ryo: MAMA! MAMA! IT’S ALREADY DARK
OUTSIDE! COME IN!
Mother: (No response)…
Ryo: MAMA! (Runs toward her)…Mama…come
inside!
Mother: (Staring on the sky) …I’m tired…
Ryo: that’s why you need to go inside!
It’s cold in here…
Mother: (Glaring eyes) (Choking Ryo) it’s
your fault! You should just die! Your father abandoned us! DIE!!!
Ryo: (Having a hard time breathing)
ma…mama…ma…can’t breathe…
Mother: (Release)…
Ryo: (Lying on the ground) (Breathing
heavily) ha…ha…ha…*cough *cough
Mother: Ryo! What happened?
Ryo:*cough *cough…mother…what’s
happening to you?
Mother: (Reaching for Ryo’s face when she
saw Ryo’s cheek with a scar) Ryo, what’s with this scar? Who did this to you?
Ryo: (Stares at her mother with pity)
(Hugs her) Mother, get yourself together! Hold on…
Mother: let’s go inside! Come on…
The “scar” is when he got hit by
her mother and his cheek bleeds. Mother’s not in her right mind and senses
anymore! She’s hurting Ryo! It’s hard for Ryo to cope up with things, taking
care of both Suke and Mother! Ryo’s peaceful sleep was interrupted by loud
thudding on the other room…when he woke up, Suke’s gone that was sleeping
beside him…he immediately get up and went to the other room…AH!
Ryo: SUKE!!! MOTHER!!!
Ryo’s so shocked on what he
saw…Suke’s mouth and eyes were covered with packaging tape, while Mother is
hitting him mercilessly…when suddenly, Suke’s having difficulty breathing…Ryo
immediately get in the way and receive all the whips and kicks of their
mother…the two loses their consciousness after the torture…it’s already
evening! Ryo saw his mother standing beside the old tree outside again…he’s
quite hesitant this time to go outside but still…he went!
Ryo: umm (Keeping a distance) mother…
Mother: (Looking at the river) Ryo…
Ryo: (Startled) what is it…Mother?
Mother: (Slowly approach Ryo) Ryo, listen
to mama…Ryo, as an older brother, you must protect Suke…don’t believe anything
except yourself…all human are mean…you must be strong…kill them before they
hurt you…understand?
Ryo: (As if he was hypnotized by his
mother’s words) yes…mother…
Mother: (Stand on the edge of the river)
sayonara, Ryo (Jump on the river)…
Ryo: MOTHER! MOTHER!
MOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After those heart-breaking
scenes, Ryo never leaves Suke’s side. Their neighbors were kind enough to
contact the orphanage people to get the kids.

FLASHBACK~~~~~
It’s been 10 years, both Ryo
and Suke were going to school but things were as tough as ever for Suke…he’s
being bullied in school but he never said a single word to anyone especially to
Ryo. He didn’t want to cause any more trouble to his beloved brother. All this
time, Ryo’s been protecting him and taking care of him, he don’t want to add
any more burdens to him…but lately, Ryo noticed that Suke’s been going home
later that usual and with bruises…
Ryo: Suke! It’s already passed 6! Where
have you been?
Suke: club activities!
Ryo: (Approach Suke) what’s with these
bruises huh?!
Suke: ummm (Nervous)…I fell from my bike
earlier!
Ryo:ahh…be careful next time…
Suke:
yeah! Thank you *Oniichan! (*brother)
Ryo: (brushes Suke’s hair) it’s nothing!
Again, today, Suke go home
with the same appearance and time…Ryo felt that something’s not right…
Ryo: Suke! What happened?
Suke: Ummm…I…
Ryo: fell from your bike again?
Suke: no! Ummm…
Ryo: what is it this time?
Suke: I tripped over a rock!
Ryo: huh?! Tripped over a rock? I know
you’re weak but you’re not stupid enough to get tripped over a rock!!!
Suke: but it’s true!
Ryo: (Whispers on Suke’s ear) just make
sure you’re not hiding anything to me, Suke!
Suke: (Gulps) of course, Oniichan!
Another day on school…another
pain on the body for Suke…afternoon comes, he was told to go behind the
school’s gym, two guys were waiting there for him…the other guy took his bag
and started kicking and punching him…he can’t utter a single word because of
the pain, as if he’s already immune to it and can’t feel his body
anymore…SUDDENLY…
Ryo: OI! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO SUKE!
Ryo’s aura was very dangerous
and scary…he punches the guy really hard and kicked him he pushed the other
one, mounted it and hit it non-stop! Suke’s lying on the ground *coughing
blood…Ryo continued on beating the two guys…
Suke: Ryo-niichan…please stop you will
get in trouble if…*coughs…if someone saw you…
Ryo: (Keep on punching) (With murderous
voice) DO NOT BOTHER SUKE ANYMORE!!!
Suke: Oniichan
(Crying)…please…stop…PLEASE…
Ryo: (Stops) …
Guys: (Running) wwwwaaahhh!!! MOMMY!!!
Ryo: Suke, so this is the reason!
Suke: Oniichan, your lip is bleeding!
Ryo: I’m ok!
Suke: (Stands up) no! Let’s go to the
infirmary…
Ryo: if you insist then…
~~~INFIRMARY~~~
Suke:
(Treat Ryo’s
bruises) that will be ok!
Ryo: *Arigatou, Suke! (*Thank you)
Suke: umm…Ryo-niichan…Thank you for
helping me…
Ryo: (Take a glance on Suke)…
Suke: you’re always there to protect
me…just for my sake, you didn’t care about yourself, even though you’re hurt or
what…you’re always there beside me whenever I need you…as your brother, I want
to do something for you too, but I can’t do anything…Ryo-niichan…next time,
I’ll be the one to protect and help you wipe your tears…it’s a PROMISE, you
heard that Ryo-niichan?
Ryo: (Pretending not hearing anything)
eh? What did you just say?
Suke: forget it! Sometimes, you act like
the foulest guy in the world! I’ll be waiting on the gate for you so hurry up!
(Left the room)
Ryo: (Whispers) you don’t have to do
anything, Suke! I will never leave your side! I’ll protect you from anyone! No
one can hurt you again before they lay a single finger on you (Glares)…I
already killed them!
The two go home together…Ryo
is very happy that he can go home together with Suke! Ryo asked Suke if they
can go to school together too, Suke agreed since he sees nothing wrong with it
which makes Ryo even happier…
~~~another day,
afternoon comes~~~
Ryo: Suke! Wanna stop by the park to
have some ice cream?
Suke: since it’s pretty early, then it’s
ok! I want strawberry flavor!
Ryo: wait by the bench over there! I’ll
buy it! It’s my treat!
Suke: Woah…thanks Niichan!
As Ryo told Suke, he patiently waited
by the bench when suddenly, a drunk guy grab Suke from the back. The guy’s eyes
were so red and his breath smells bad. The guy covered Suke’s mouth and kept on
touching him in weird places. Ryo, holding the ice creams on both of his hands
saw how hard Suke’s been struggling to get away from the drunk guy…Ryo threw
the ice creams away, he grab a steel bar, runs toward the guy and hit it in
head knocking the guy out! Ryo took the wallet of the guy and took its ID!
Suke: (Breathing heavily)…ha…ha…ha…
Ryo: Suke! Are you alright?!
Suke: I’m so scared! (Shivering)
(Shaking) Ryo-niichan (Cried)…
Ryo: (Hugs Suke tight like when their
still kids) It’s ok now Suke! Niichan is here! No one will hurt you! (Sang the
usual lullaby)
Suke: (Fell asleep) …
Ryo: (Wipe Suke’s tears) (Put his
sleeping brother on his back) Suke, we will go home now (Stares at the guy)…(Different
voice)…WE’RE NOT YET FINISH!
Ryo carries Suke on his back
on their way home. Ryo put the trembling Suke on the bed…gently brushing his
hair…
Ryo: (Talking to the sleeping Suke)
Suke, sorry for not protecting you earlier…I promise you will never experience
those kind of things again. Sleep peacefully, brother will just go out for a
while and put an end on some unfinished business! (Kissed Suke on the forehead)
It’s raining pretty hard
outside, Ryo wear his jacket and put something on his pocket…he put his
jacket’s hood and run outside…he suddenly stop in front of a house, pull out
something from his pocket…
Ryo: (Sound of phone tapping) *ring *ring
*ring (Waiting for the other line to answer the call)
Other
line: hello? Who is
it?
Ryo: go outside! I have something for
you! *ring *ring *ring (End of call)
Other
line: eh? What was
that? Ah! Maybe it’s the “delivery”.
Ryo hide by the shadow of a
tall pole near the guy’s house, the guy that Ryo contacted earlier came out
immediately and he calls the guy by just waving his hand! The guy came running
toward his direction…
Ryo: (Hidden in the dark) (Holding a
small card) Y-U-T-O?
Yuto: yeah, it’s me! Do you have the
“delivery”?
Ryo: delivery?
Yuto: don’t play dumb! I mean the drugs!
Ryo: (Smirk) so that’s it huh! Sorry to
disappoint you but you had the wrong guy!
Yuto: WWHHAAATT??!!!
Ryo: (Suddenly punch Yuto) HERE’S MY
DELIVERY!
Yuto: (Pushed Ryo and slowly crawling
backward) who are you?
Yuto looks so frightened and
shocked because of Ryo’s sudden attack! *thunder cracking* Ryo’s glaring eyes
were being seen despite the darkness of the night, it’s as if it were glowing
blood-red! The atmosphere around him was so scary and murderous, very dangerous
indeed! Yuto got even more afraid when another thunder bolt strikes again and
saw Ryo grinning…
Ryo: (Walking slowly) Yuto-san…don’t act
like a coward…stand up…
Yuto: (Slowly crawling backward) WHO…WHO
ARE YOU! YOU’RE NOT A HUMAN!
Ryo: what? I can’t here you…the rain is
really hard…
Yuto: DON’T COME NEAR ME! DON’T COME!!!
I’LL…I’LL STAB YOU!
Ryo: really? Go ahead! That’s if you
can!
Yuto tried to scare Ryo away
saying he will stab him but Ryo’s not in his usual self, as if he was possessed
by another person…Yuto stand up and really tried to stab Ryo but he can’t even
see what direction Ryo was going, while aiming confusedly, Ryo kicked him from
the back and snatched the knife away from him…Ryo covered Yuto’s mouth and
stomped on his hand, Yuto’s scream was being drowned together with his
trembling voice…
Yuto: *Mmppphhh! *Mmmmppphhh!
Ryo: (Laughing) what? I can’t understand
you!
Yuto: (Shivering) (Trembling) (Shaking)
(Crying) *Mmpppphhh! *Mmmpppphh!
Ryo: (Whispers) you should feel the same
feelings that Suke felt when he was being molested by YOU!!! HE WAS TREMBLING
AND SHAKING LIKE THERE’S NO TOMORROW!!! HE’S SO SCARED AND AFRAID AND IT’S ALL
BECAUSE OF YOU!!!
Yuto: *Mmmpppphhhhhhhhhhh!
Ryo:
(Choking Yuto) YOU
SHOULD DIE RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW!
Ryo plans to just scare Yuto
but he can’t control himself anymore! He stop knowing that Yuto is dead already
but when he’s about to leave, Yuto with all his strength stab Ryo in the
back…Ryo immediately pulled out the knife on his back and stab it to Yuto,
twice! To be exact…Ryo ended up killing a person! After realizing everything
that he just did, he panicked and run away…he run as far as he can and ended up
going to their old house, beside the old tree where his mother often stayed
before, he sat there with trembling hands covered with blood, the weight of the
crime that he just committed were eating him and drowning him to the deepest
degree of misery…
Unknown
voice: Good job
Ryo! Good work! You just did the right thing and to protect your brother!
There’s nothing wrong with it! As long as Suke’s safe, it takes a little
sacrifice…
Ryo: but…a killed a person! MOTHER! (The
unknown voice was their mother)
Mother:
all humans were
wicked! You should kill them first before they kill you!
Ryo: right…Suke’s not safe with anyone
aside from me! Mother! Thank you for telling me that!
Mother: protect your brother no matter
what! Ryo, you’re strong!
Ryo without realizing the
time, he spend the rest of that night sleeping on that old tree…without even
realizing the pain both in physical & emotional aspect!
